Hello! 

My name is Edward Tobar and I’m an emerging production manager and story artist based in Orange County, California. I will be graduating from California State University, Fullerton in December, 2025 as I am currently producing and directing my BFA group thesis film.

 

My goal is to inspire my community to tell their story through animated media. As a Hispanic Asian American, I feel obliged to promote more diverse and multi-ethnic characters in my stories. When other people see my work, I hope that they feel excited to embrace challenges and they are empowered to lead their own narrative. Creating animation is the trail I blaze for myself and is the culmination of the awe I felt in childhood and my desire to capture a powerful experience.
